Museum
Hello, I am Yacsha, author and webmaster of The World of Chaos. I have created this section of the Museum, as a monument to the nostalgia of those years in which this website helped thousands of Internet users to improve their programming skills, at a time when the Internet was just beginning to become popular as a tool to improve our skills. If you are one of those followers who has followed this website since its inception or if you are new here, I would appreciate it if you left us your comment in our Guestbook.
Thank you

Below I tell you the story behind this website:
This is a museum of the evolution of The World of Chaos, from the first version back in 1999, to the last version published in 2002.
It all started in 1999, with the website hosted on Geocities, the address given was very long: www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Screen/2767/, although there were other pages with longer addresses. Later in 2000, Geocities allowed the domain to be shortened to www.geocities.com/joseluisdl, but the free alias domain of elmundodelcaos.cjb.net was also used as an alternative domain.

In 2001, thanks to the fact that the island of Tokelau had just become digitalized, it began to give away .tk domains to anyone who requested them, it was then that I did not hesitate to create www.elmundodelcaos.tk and www.foros3d.tk, which were hosted on the free servers: websamba and lycos.fr

The World of Chaos forums (foros3d.tk) were implemented as a place where visitors could exchange information and ask questions and answer each other, in order to progress their skills little by little.

In 2005, thanks to Fernando Flores V., a friend who was a follower of The World of Chaos, he donated hosting and the domain www.elmundodelcaos.com, which was online from 2005 to 2006, but unfortunately due to my busy schedule at that time I was not able to provide the necessary maintenance and continuity to the project, and the domain was never renewed.

Unfortunately the free servers websamba.com and lycos.fr stopped working in 2008 and that “seemed” the end of this project.

Until now in 2024 the project has been revived, renamed The World of Chaos (www.theworldofchaos.com) and released in English so that it can be seen by more people worldwide.
If you were one of the followers of our website at the beginning of this century, relive with nostalgia the version of The World of Chaos you knew, I would like you to tell me in our GuestBook which version of The World of Chaos you knew, and how the programs you found helped you.

And if you are new to the World of Chaos, I invite you also to stop by the GuestBook and tell us which programs you like and/or are helping you.
I would also appreciate it if you could suggest or send us new programs and send us your own challenges that you would like to share with the World of Chaos community.
